First off, I see ’em popping up on Nordstrom’s website, Saks OFF 5TH (hello, discount designer!), and even MR PORTER, which, let’s be real, is kinda fancy pants. They got stuff for guys there. Then I see like, Women’s stuff on ModeSens. So, they’re really going for everybody here, huh? Good for them, I guess.
And then there’s the whole “second-hand” thing on Nike.com, which is… kinda weird, right? BVLGARI on *Nike*? I thought they’d be snobby or sumthin. I mean, whatever works, I guess? More accessablity, right? But honestly, like, I’m kinda side-eyeing it. Maybe it’s just me.
The thing is, BVLGARI, that’s a brand, right? You think jewelry, watches, maybe a little bit of fancy-schmancy stuff. But shoes? I dunno, feels a little bit like they’re just slapping their name on anything they can get their hands on. (No hate, just sayin’.)
And then… sock sneakers? Are we still doing sock sneakers? I feel like that trend died, like, five years ago. But apparently, they’re still in the game. I mean, if that’s your thing, go for it. But personally, I’d rather wear a regular sock with regular shoes. What am I, a robot ninja?
Then there’s the whole “Sandalia Bulgari Couro em promoção na Netshoes!” thing. So, what? They make sandals too now? I’m just trying to keep up here, y’know? (And, full disclosure, I don’t speak Portugese, but I’m pretty sure that’s a sandal situation.)
