First off, what *is* Diorsnow? Basically, it’s Dior’s attempt to woo the Asian skincare market with promises of brighter, whiter, more luminous skin. Which, okay, fine, marketing. But they do pack it with, like, edelweiss extract and all sorts of fancy-schmancy stuff. Supposedly, it’s *specially* formulated for Asian skin, which, I dunno, feels a little…idk, I’m not gonna get into that.
Anyway, where to *buy* it. That’s the tricky part. You can definitely find Diorsnow on YesStyle, which is a pretty legit place to get Asian beauty products. But, and this is a BIG but, be careful about fakes! Make sure you’re buying from a reputable seller, read the reviews, the whole nine yards. Nobody wants a bottle of watered-down…well, whatever they put in those fake things.
eBay is another option, but honestly, it’s a bit of a minefield. You can find some good deals, sure, but again, FAKES GALORE. Like, seriously, be skeptical. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
Then there’s the whole “brightening makeup base” thing. I’ve seen that pop up a lot when searching for Diorsnow. Honestly? I’m kinda meh about brightening bases in general. They’re usually just fancy primers with a little shimmer, and you could probably get the same effect with a cheaper product. Just sayin’.
Oh, and don’t forget the Diorsnow UV Shield. Sunscreen, people! Always sunscreen. But, is the Diorsnow one worth the Dior price tag? Hmmm, tough call. There are plenty of good Asian sunscreens out there that are just as effective, if not more so, and won’t break the bank. Think Biore, Shiseido, etc.
