Now, I gotta say, I’m kinda a sucker for this kinda thing. I mean, the planet’s in trouble, yeah? So anything we can do to, you know, not make it worse, I’m all for it. And Edgar.hk is definitely trying.
The whole idea is, you bring your own containers. Like, seriously, dig out those old Tupperware boxes your grandma used to fill with cookies (good times!). They want you to bring your own bags, bottles, whatever. No more plastic bags from Wellcome, or ParknShop! It’s all about buying in bulk and avoiding that whole plastic nightmare. Makes sense, right?
I saw someone mention they got dry fruits and nuts there. And cookies! Decadent cookies, apparently. I haven’t actually *been* yet, I gotta admit, but it’s on my list. I mean, who doesn’t love cookies? And if they’re eco-friendly *and* delicious? Shut up and take my money!
And speaking of stuff, they’ve got more than just food, apparently. This other snippet I found mentioned eco-friendly lifestyle items. What *are* eco-friendly lifestyle items, you ask? I dunno, maybe bamboo toothbrushes? Reusable coffee cups? I’m just spitballing here. But you get the idea. Stuff that’s better for the planet than the usual plastic-y junk we’re all drowning in.
They even have tea, but not in tea bags, which is kinda mind-blowing. They have these fancy little glass tea infusers and reusable silicone tea bags. Okay, that’s kinda cool. I always feel bad throwing away tea bags after just one cup. It feels so wasteful!
And you know what else is cool? This shop is independent. That’s right, not part of some big chain. I like that. Supports local business, you know? And they’re clearly passionate about what they’re doing.
