Like, you see “Forged in Valhalla” (whaaat?) advertising Saint Laurent jewelry, then Flannels saying “Browse our range of Saint Laurent Jewellery selection” – fancy spelling and all – and then there’s the official SAINT LAURENT site pushing “Nova Alta Joalheria Feminina” (which, correct me if I’m wrong, is Portuguese, right?). It’s a freakin’ whirlwind! Where do you even start?!
And THEN you get Poshmark and The RealReal throwing in the whole “up to 70% off!” and “up to 90% off!” thing. Okay, cool, deals are great, but is it REALLY Yves Saint Laurent, or is it, like, a REALLY good knockoff? And how good is “good enough,” anyway? Is saving a few hundred bucks worth the risk of ending up with something that turns your skin green? I mean, probably not, right?
And “Handmade Waterproof Jewelry”? That kinda sounds like someone’s Etsy shop, not Yves Saint Laurent. Unless…unless YSL is secretly getting into the waterproof jewelry game. Now *that’s* a plot twist I didn’t see coming. I’d almost want to see that tbh.
Then you got Mytheresa slinging “women’s luxury fashion,” which, yeah, YSL definitely fits in there, but it still feels kinda generic. Like, c’mon, give me some specifics! Tell me why *their* YSL is better than everyone else’s!
