I gotta say, the Monogram canvas… It’s iconic, no doubt. And they say it’s inspired by original sketches, which is cool, I guess. But let’s be real, it’s mostly about showing off that you can afford a Louis Vuitton, ya know? No shame in that game, I mean if I had the money, I’d probably rock one too! I’d probably spill coffee all over it too, knowing me.
They’ve got totes, apparently, crossbody bags… I saw something about the “Neverfull MM,” which sounds… well, neverfull. Clever, LV, clever. The description said something about “heritage details” and “supple Monogram canvas.” Sounds pretty bougie, doesn’t it? It sounds like it would be a total pain to clean. But it looks great and has that name recognition, which is a really big deal if you’re into that kind of thing.
Oh! And the “OnTheGo MM” … that’s a mouthful. But then I read about the “Marceau Bag” from Spring 2022. Now, this is getting confusing. Is that, like, a completely different thing? The description said it was inspired by the “Pochette Metis” and has an “S-lock.” All these fancy names, my head is spinning. Honestly, sometimes I think LV just makes up random words to make their bags sound more exclusive.
And what about the LV Monogram 手袋 2024 最新價目表!? I think that is Chinese, but I am not sure… I have no clue what that says, but I’m guessing it’s a price list for the 2024 collection? Probably expensive. Like, *really* expensive. The description talked about “luxury and style across decades” and how the “Monogram series showcases a variety of shapes.” Which is true, they have pretty much any shape you could imagine.
Then there’s the “Loop Bag Monogram Canvas,” which, okay, I’m starting to see a pattern here. “Monogram Canvas” is basically the default setting, right? Apparently, it’s “created from supple leather” and “embossed.” So, like, fancy leather with the LV logo stamped all over it. Got it. This one is described as being “artisanal craftsmanship and precision”…. I wonder how many hours they spend making each one? I bet it is a lot!
