So, we got a Mike Kelly from Pennsylvania – a Republican, representing the 16th district. Dude’s got a hometown of Butler, PA, and his oath of office was, like, just this year, January 3rd, 2025. Solid. But then BAM! We got another Mike Kelly, this one a *Democrat* from Chicago. Talk about a party switcheroo nightmare, am I right? And this guy was highlightin’ key bills after the 2024 Illinois legislative session ended. Like, seriously, guys, can we coordinate names a little better? It’s a total headache.
Then there’s this Rep. Kelly Morrison, seems pretty straightforward. Bio, committees, all that jazz. She’s even got an email and a newsletter. Bless her organized little heart. I kinda wonder if she ever gets Mike Kelly’s emails by mistake. I probably would.
And oh boy, don’t even get me started on Mark Kelly. (Not to be confused with, you know, the astronaut who’s married to Gabby Giffords…) This one’s actually Kelly E. Hastings, a *Republican* representing District 110 in North Carolina. See, this is the kinda stuff that makes your brain hurt! Like who is Kelly, and why are there so many of them?
Oh, and hold on! There’s a Robin Lynne Kelly from Illinois, a Democrat who’s been a U.S. Representative since 2013! She was even in the Illinois House of Represntatives before that. She’s probably sitting there thinking “y’all are rookies.”
And *then* there’s *another* John Trent Kelly from Mississippi, a Republican, a lawyer, a general… This guy’s got a whole laundry list of stuff going on! It’s exhausting just reading about him. Seriously, I need a nap.
