Okay, so the sources are all over the place. We’ve got mentions of “Chanel wallet on chain bag is perfect for every season,” and how it’s “never so ostentatious that it feels obscene!” (Which, LOL, *some* Chanel is totally obscene, but I digress). And then there’s this whole thing about Swiss watches…like, “22 Best Affordable Swiss Watches You Should Know.” What does *that* have to do with a Chanel wallet?! Maybe… maybe nothing. My brain is already hurting.
But seriously, the Wallet on Chain (WOC) seems like a big deal. Apparently Lagerfeld blessed it back in the 90s, and now everyone’s obsessed. “Must-have among collectors and style lovers alike,” they say. I can see it. It’s small, but apparently, “compact yet efficient.” Six card slots, zipped pockets, open compartment… sounds pretty organized, right?
Okay, so about the Swiss movement… I think what *might* be happening here is a confusion. Chanel wallets themselves, I’m pretty sure, don’t have Swiss movements. That’s a watch thing. BUT, and this is a big BUT, maybe people are pairing their fancy Chanel wallets with, like, a Swiss watch? You know, the whole “look at me, I’m rich” vibe? Could be. I mean, it *is* Chanel. People do crazy things for Chanel.
And then there’s this random sentence about “TAKING CARE, REPAIRING, ADJUSTING.” What’s *that* about? Is that about the watches? The wallets? My head hurts even more now.
