DSF Antique Jewelry, they’ve been doing their thing for, like, half a century. And you know they’ve got some serious rare finds. And yeah, apparently, you can find vintage Valentino jewelry there. I mean, that’s pretty cool.
Then you’ve got all these other places selling “vintage Valentino jewelry”, too. But, like, how do you *know* it’s the real deal? That’s the question, isn’t it? You don’t want to get bamboozled into buying some cheap knock-off that’s gonna turn your neck green. Gross.
Now, the Valentino jewelry trademark… that’s where it gets a bit hazy. It looks like it was a thing from ’69 to ’87. So, if you’re looking for “vintage,” that’s kinda your window, right? I think? Maybe? This is where I get confused.
And like, don’t even get me started on trying to *style* it. I mean, you can definitely pair it with some vintage style clothing. I think that’s obvious. But maybe you could go for a more modern look to really make the jewelry pop, like I dunno, throwing on a big rhinestone Valentino brooch with a plain black dress? That could be cool, right? Or a Valentino watch? Okay, I’m getting sidetracked. Sorry!
From what I’m gathering, the 80s and early 90s were kind of the golden age for this stuff. Big, bold, rhinestone-covered… you know, peak 80s glam. I personally love it. I mean, it’s so over-the-top, but in a good way, y’know?
eBay? Yeah, you can find stuff there. Be careful tho! It’s kinda like a treasure hunt, you gotta be a savvy shopper, and make sure it’s legit before you pull the trigger.
